Following the geological formation The Oslo Rift from Vaterlandsparken(Stargate pub) in Oslo, to the Hamar city pier. From Oslo to Hamar partly through primeval forest (no path) and on various marked trails (blue/red), as well as marked/unmarked dirt roads and some asphalt. 

N.B. This is not a random Ultra Trail competition but an expedition ultra trail race

-It's not supposed to be easy!
